Puerto Pollensa in Majorca is good for that age group. Have heard good reports re Menorca too. I'm not a fan of the Canaries - pretty breezy and volcanic beaches.

Menorca is lovely and quiet. We enjoyed Turkey as well. Having tried self catering and all inclusive with young children, I am converted to all inclusive. We were more relaxed, didn't have to keep thinking about shopping, planning meals, cooking, washing up, etc. And it's all paid for at the start, so you don't have to worry about how much each shop will cost you.
