Somewhere between ile de re and Calais

Hello

We are driving from Calais down to ile de re on the West coast of France. We need to stop over overnight on the way back. Can anyone recommend anywhere? Nearer Calais would be preferable so we can get a good day of driving done. Any suggestions of towns or toddler friendly hotels would be great.

The Novotel at Le Touquet is very child friendly, quite reasonable and easy to park (important in Le Touquet!) - it's also right on the beach which is a very nice beach. 10 minute walk along the sea front to lovely shops and restaurants. About an hour-ish from Calais. Would definitely recommend it.
