We are thinking of going to Denmark for 1-2 weeks in August with our 4 yr old DS. We know it's a child friendly place with lots for children to do. We don't know the country at all apart from the name of the capital where we will fly to!
We don't want to spend all our time in the city and would like to be near beaches whilst not being totally cut off from civilization. We would probably spend a few days in Copenhagen and then the rest outside the city. Can anyone recommend any places or give me any helpful tips about holidaying in Denmark? Access to a nice beach is all we really need as my DS is easily entertained. We probably won't hire a car so will be using public transport.
