Hi

I am day 3 into holiday in Majorca in Hi Bouganvilla. We initially had to move rooms as room not suitable for DS as has Autism and right next to gates to open street(they knew of needs as Thomas Cook emailed them re DS no danger awareness prior to this.

Day 2 moved to safer spot. Now it said in TC book that SElf Catering had microwave ovens. I needed SC as DS is gluten and milk free and has bread from GP as celiac.

No microwave oven when got here cost 60 euros to hire one! Went to cook some chips in it today which should take 16 minutes over 1 HHoUR later still not cooked!

Phoned reception and they say they will send new microwave from hire shop. The microwave isn't broke its just rubbish!

DS has lived on gluten free bread and jam for 3 days got another 12 to go! Want to go home :(

HELP!!!!!!!

Complain to Thomas Cook now and take photos of everything problematic to use like this microwave oven you describe. Write it all down; document all the problems before you return to the UK.

Thank you great idea I will

The microwave oven is working now we were shown how as no instructions with it. We are one of only families without microwave but in more need due to DS diet . Thankfully DS can eat chips bought on site otherwise jam on toast for fortnight

I phoned Thomas cook in UK but advised nothing they can do! Going to complain when back home too even though TC are now refunding the cost of microwave. They have treated us like shit!
