looking for lovely gite/cottage/holiday parc in france with pool on a small budget? please help!

would like to go for 2 weeks so budget is max £900 per week. looking to book now for August 2014 as i know the good ones get booked up quickly

no more than 6 hours drive from Calais so brittany/normandy/picardy/ardennes/champagne/loire etc

would like nice gardens/outdoor space/heated pool (can be shared)

sleeps 6+ (2 adults 4 kids)

looks great portofino. Have you stayed there? just what im looking for shame its a little more.not sure we can stretch to 2 weeks. Any other recommendations anyone?

Yes - we stayed there for a week last summer. This year we are off here near to La Rochelle, which is better for your budget but maybe slightly out of your driving range.

We are off tomorrow in fact (excited), and I know it is meant to be about 8.5 hours from Brussels so about 6.5 from Calais. The weather looks good! The gites get good reviews on Holiday rentals.co.uk
