Any tips or ideas for a family trip to Bali. Kids are seven and eight. In particular, I am confused about the best part of the island for nice accommodation. Would like a nice beach, some cafes and restaurants, spacious accommodation with a pool. Don't want party central! Hoping to spend a few days in Ubud, but apart from that would like to be at the beach chilling out, swimming, visiting markets and temples.

Gili Air was very relaxing, lots of little Warungs, no cars/traffic just horses and carts & bikes. After that we went back to Bali and stayed in Lipah (Amed) on the east coast of Bali at Coral View villas - it was my idea of paradise. Very undeveloped, we visited a few places with a driver, did some amazing diving, the kids made loads of friends and my husband went fishing at sunrise. It was
