October family holiday suggestions needed - sunshine required!

Hi, we are looking for a holiday destination for the October holidays - around Saturday 12th October for one week, two boys aged 12 and 13, easy to get to (travel would be from Edinburgh/Glasgow), near a beach, pool if possible, sunshine needed. Probably all-inclusive.

We are looking at Majorca, but open to suggestions. Any ideas? Thanks!

Fourth year in a row to Tenerife. Temperature ( crosses fingers) perfect at that time of year and direct flights from Edinburgh. You can fly with Easyjet/Ryanair or Fly Thomas cook. Loads of hotels in the Costa Adeje/ Del Duque area that are family friendly, or our friends are doing their second trip to the AI First Choice village in Tenerife.

To be honest, you may be cheaper looking at the AI First choice now because flight prices for the October break are expensive due to it's popularity - we book ours as soon as they come out. Alternatively our friends have cut the price quite substantially by flying from Newcastle - yes it adds 2.5 hours onto the trip, but from what I remember it's a nice enough airport and not a dreadful drive. Just checked on First Choice and flying from Newcastle brings the price down by about £200 per person.
