Holidaying in Mojacar but don't know much about the area

Summer hols this year in Mojacar with 3 boys aged from 17 to 9, usually do hotels with all the activities that go with it but this time it's villa. Worried there won't be enough to keep them occupied has anyone been, know the area, got any tips?

Was in Mojacar in another life time (teenage years) in the 70's

I was there with suburb, in the 70's

Trying to think as it was years ago when we went. They used to film all the spaghetti westerns out in the desert using the Spanish soldiers as extras.

There's an aqua park, zoo with a wild west town and arena that did a show each day (it was good), trip up the mountain - fantastic scenery. We went into Granada for the day and toured the Alhambra Palace but that was for me not the kids.

The beach wasn't all that good and I think most days you'll just want to laze by the pool as it'll be so hot.

Thank you all - definitely fancy a trip to Alhambra too and as long as there's a waterpark the kids will be happy. Thanks again.
