Self catering Begium? Not Center Parcs?

As the title says really. Can anyone recommend an english website to look at for self catering accommodation in Belgium? We're thinking of doing a Center Parcs / standard accom holiday combo with our 1 and 2 year olds in Sept but there doesn't seem to much on offer on the web unlike for France etc. We camped in Belgium pre children and loved it for a hol. Any suggestions please..

When we lived there, I googled camp sites looking for somewhere to put our tent up. I saw lots and lots of caravan type places although more like fancy pants sheds whose names escape me.

And it returns. Chalets. I think they are fully fitted out.

Hoseasons? We went to Belgium a few years ago and stayed on a holiday park booked through them. Ds1 was 2.5 at the time.

Have you also tried Sun PArks? It's Belgian but you can get it translated into English.

www.landal.com or www.sunparks.com for holiday parks
Ardennes Etape or Immoweb for holiday houses.

I have been to Landal and Sunpsrks on numerous occasions. Don't rule out the Dutch parks. Also, www.duinrell.nl is fab. I live in Belgium by the way..... What used to be Sunparks at De Haan is now CP. De Haan is really nice. Great beach with lovely prom to rent bikes and go-karts. Lots of nice restaurants etc. most of the coast is so built up, I would really recommend De Haan or Knokke-Heist. And the coastal tram goes all the way along. Dekust.be I think is this website. Also the Ardennes are lovely. Durbuy, La Roche etc.

That's great thanks. We have been to De Haan and we did really like it there. Is there a very very peak season in Belgium with everything around it being very quite like France? We have been to France at the start of Sept before and everything was shut / shutting up and practically desserted. I know it is end of season then but even in the UK some things would be open then despite unreliable weather etc.

Well the school holidays are 1st July to 1st September. I would not expect every thing to close down in early September though

We went to Belgium at the end of August/beginning of September and it was still very much holiday time then.
