We enjoyed a leisurely drive to and from a Eurocamp holiday more than the Eurocamp holiday itself a couple of years ago (Les Sables D'Or - much too busy). We resolved to go back and stop in municipal campsites this time...

The children are very focussed on waterparcs - I thought it could be a fun road trip to potter from one waterparc to the next.

Can people recommend outside waterparcs/pools that are not too expensive and ideally where you don't have to stay in linked accommodation please?

thank you

Sounds like our kids! They have enjoyed a water park in Albi - atlantis.grand-albigeois.fr which is just a large outdoor/indoor town swimming complex but with slides/diving pools/grass to lie on etc, great for an afternoon and Albi is a lovely place to visit! They also loved this place where you can swim at and do many other activities - well worth a trip - a big day out. www.vert-marine.com/cap-decouverte-le-garric-81-en/

Then they have swam at many town pools which have always been great - many with slides etc. Other than that they have loved lakes/rivers and we can easy spend a day at some of the places we have visited - like Veynes www.eurocampings.co.uk/en/europe/france/provence-alpes-cote-dazur/hautes-alpes/campsite-les-rives-du-lac-111480/

Then there are the big ones like in Paris! Enjoy!
