We have been to France with Keycamp & Venue holidays the last couple of years. We have stayed at L'Atlantique, Fouesnant and La Grande Metairie, Carnac. Absolutely loved La Grande Metairie & would like somewhere as great as that for this year.

Problem is, we are now running out of money due to unexpected car & boiler costs, so previous plans of travelling to the Dordogne or Alps are out the window.

I am now looking for cheap options, with cheap ferry, but not too much driving and a lovely site... Can anyone help?

Les Mouettes at Carantec - 20 minutes from the Roscoff ferry port. Lovely, well maintained site, big pitches, great pool area with slides, lazy river and indoor heated pool.

Carantec itself is lovely, nice beaches and great for walking. Good restaurants and you can get the bus to Morlaix or St Pol for a Euro. I'd go with Canvas as theyre normally cheaper.

Thank you! I have been looking at that one. Just waiting for a quote now.

We were just reminiscing about our stay at this campsite.

Le Ranolien.

It was our first trip together - my DS and (now) DH's 2 DSs. We went with Keycamp in a mobile home.

The weather wasn't fab - despite it being mid August - but we all liked the site. It felt safe for the DC to go off on their own. (ages 11,10 and 8).
It looks like they have up dated the pool area since also.

Short walk to rocky beach, with fab views. Rockpools for kids. Short drive or medium walk into the main beach at Perros Guirec.

I would go there again.
