Holiday help!

We're thinking about taking DD (28 months) on a little holiday in August and we really quite fancy a not too cheesy but nonetheless easy peasy all-inclusive package deal, but we've never done that kind of thing before, always opting for a city break or taking a few days here and there when we've been lucky enough to travel with work.

We're totally clueless as to where to go, except that given our budget it's unlikely to be outside Europe. Any good recommendations? DD's still young enough to kind of go along with what we do so we're not too bothered about kids' entertainment or anything like that.

Anywhere you've been with a little one that you'd recommend? Would like some sea and sand but it's not the be all and end all. We've got about £1200 to spend.

Any advice much appreciated. Never done this before! Duh. xxx

I have a couple of suggestions ; the first www.caseriodelmirador.com , is not an all inclusive holiday, but is fantastic for folk with toddlers Smile. We have been several times and have loved it!

Also, and on more of an inclusive theme, Neilson beach clubs are great if you want to get a bit active while your toddler is having fun with other toddlers and great nannies. My DS is a teenager now, but we both enjoyed watching the little ones on a recent club holiday in Turkey. Might be quite hot in August though!

Hope you find something!

First choice do good all inclusive for families. Turkey seems to be the cheapest place.

Can you not avoid August school holiday?

I think you will be lucky to get anything for 1200 I'm August

September when less busy would be loads cheaper

Ooh, thanks for the suggestions, will have a look, yes unfortunately it does have to be August due to work commitments.
