Somewhere to eat with small children in or near Plymouth?

We're getting the ferry from Plymouth to France on Wednesday night after driving down from t'north. We won't get on the boat until 9-10 pm so need to feed small children (nearly 2 and 4) before then. Any suggestions please for child-friendly places to eat either in Plymouth or around? (Exeter, Taunton etc)

Seco lounge in William's yard is nice and near the ferry port to boot. If you want somewhere nice for an evening wander the barbican is lovely, there are a could of good fish and chip shops (the mermaid has an eat in bit I think) or if you want to eat outside there is always the famouse captin jaspers down by the harbour. They used to do the most amazing chilli burgers with fried rings of chilli-con-carne on the top -yum!
