EHIC card mistake- do I need a new one?

It's the one thing dh was reponsible for and mine has come back with an error on my DOB.

Do you think it matters?

Well if you do need anything done they might get arsey about it. I'd get a new one on the safe side

I wouldn't risk it. Normally they only need the number (7or 8 digits) and if you're not unconcious you can tell them about DOB, but why risk the hassle. Ring them (number on card) and they will send a new one usually within a week.
