DH is going to be 40 in October. We have a (very rare) overnight babysit. My parents (babysitting) live in Nottinghamshire, so that is our base.
Whenever this has happened in the past, DH has usually organised a night in a hotel. We have either stayed in a boutique hotel (fabulous) in a city centre, or a spa hotel (fabulous) in the middle of nowhere.
DH has always organised the breaks.
They have always been wonderful.
Now it's my turn.
I have no idea.
Budget is about £350 for dinner, bed and breakfast. We are happy to stay anywhere within about an hour-ish of Nottingham. That basically covers anything from Peak District, through to Skegness and Warwickshire.
Can anyone recommend anything fabulous?
