i was thinking of going to one of the canary islands for holiday. i was looking at some different hotels but didnt want book a package holiday... wanted to know if anyone had any feedback on the hotel run kidsclubs.
have you ever used a foreign kidsclub, did you feel the children were safe? were the staff child care qualified? did they follow any uk regualations? any experiences you had would be helpful
many thanks

I know my opinion will be unpopular but I would never use a kidsclub in a foreign country as their standards of childcare are not as high...of course they are in countries like Sweden...Australia but not in the canary islands. I believe the regs are going to be the same as any other childcare facility in the Canary Island not the same as the UK ....after all..it's not the UK is it.

The kids clubs at the Princess Yaiza in Lanzarote are extremely well managed. Children can use them from the age of 3 and I was perfectly happy to leave my kids there.

If you are worried about a hotel run kids clud, choose a first choice holiday village (or thompson sensetori resort) all the kids club staff are british, they adhere to UK regulated ratio's for children to staff and even follow the EYFS learning for educational sessions. My daughter loves them and would spend her whole time in kids club if she could!
