Obviously run by different people but has anyone used hotel kids clubs for their children before? Anything I need to be aware of? Looking at fertuventura in October and need kids club. Thanks.

Hotel ones are using local staff and local regulations . TO ones may have native English speaking staff and claim UK regulations and Ofsted. Bear in mind companies like TUI are international and the kids club may reflect that.

Hotel run ones are usually run by local legislation by local hotel staff. I have no idea what their staff qualification requirements are (if any).

Usually hotel run clubs will have children from a wider collection of countries - not always as LIZS says - Tui is international.

DD was 6 when she decided one day she was bored with a hotel run club and just decided to leave and no one noticed. This was despite the club insisting we signed kids in and out. Thankfully my dad found her wandering around the mini golf on her own on his way back from the loo and brought her back to me. God knows where she may have ended up.

We used the Barcelo Thalasso Spa kids club in Feb and found it very good. ( Not that we are experts but the girls had a great time did not go daily and they did varied activities)

That is actually the hotel we are looking at rosa.

Your experience call is what scares me.
