Is Majorca hot in May?

Looking at Majorca for next May half term but concerned that it won't be hot. I like hot . What's it like towards the end-ish of May, please?

I think the average high is only 22C. And the water temperature is still very cold. It depends on what you mean by hot.

Wouldn't say hot hot ime. Can also be a bit wet.

I have just got back. Not hot! Warmer than here but lots of cloud and some rain, however not typical for the season according to others. I guess average temperature was 19.

Right, thanks everyone. When I say hot, I mean bikini every day type weather, so think May is out.

Have just got back. Spent the whole week in cardigan. Pool and sea too cold for the kids to go in. Grey, overcast and a bit rainy.

Oh no JKO. This spring has been awful here in southern Europe.

And in general, you might struck lucky in May and get a week with fab weather, but it isn't a rule. And the sea water is still v. Cold.

Not hot! Sea and pool too cold for me.

Might be better going towards the end of the season rather than the beginning.

Thanks all. I'm now looking at late July or August and will just have to suck up the additional cost of going in the main school hols. I'd rather do that than have crap weather.
