Going on short break with 3 others aged between 40-50. We are going to the titanic museum but any where else recommended? Nice traditional pub perhaps. And anything to see/do in Mull ?? TIA :)

Mull - go to Tobermory for the day. Or go over to Iona for the day.

Fri-Sun mornings - St George's Market, City Centre is good.

Pubs : Kitchen Bar, McHughs, Northern Whig, The Crown, The Garrick, Cloth Ear - Merchant Hotel, 10 Square - all pubs in Belfast City Centre that I have rolled out of frequented.

I second The Garrick, its a proper pub.

If you want the touristy experience, its worth visiting The Crown pub, opposite the Grand Opera House.

If its a nice day and you fancy a walk, take a wander (or a bus) up to Queens University/Botanic Gardens, and the Ulster Museum is there too. Entry is free and there are some really good exhibits. From city centre to university is maybe about 20 mins walk? (Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, its ages since I lived in Belfast).

City Centre Open Top tours in Belfast - I think you can hop off at Titanic museum. It's a bit of walk from city centre to the shipyard - much further than it looks. Linenhall Library is nice too.

You can go to the distillery in Tobermory (Ledaig) and also to the Marine Visitor Centre.

I second a trip to Iona, perhaps a trip out to Staffa, see Fingall's Cave and the puffins (if it's the right time to see them). Calgary Bay is very lovely. If you're into cheese, a visit to where they make Isle of Mull cheddar, not far from Tobermory (Skiobruaridh or sth). The latter 2 would probably need a car though.

When in Belfast I would do a black taxi tour. Much more interesting than the bus tour.
