Thinking of going to the Crocky Trail near Chester tomorrow as the weather looks good. I have two DS, 10 and 8. Has anyone been? Is it any good?

I haven't been myself but DH took DS1 & 2 when they were a similar age.

They absolutely loved it. If your DSs love climbing and exploring, I am sure they will love it too.

It's fab. Take spare clothes and a portable/ disposable barbecue. It's very rough and ready but really good fun.

If you dont like it I will refund your money!
Its fantastic, its rough and ready play like the old days, loads of mud etc.
We have been even in the pouring rain, every child should go at least once.
Its a good idea above to take a change of clothes too.
Whilst in the area Cheshire candle workshop and Icecream farm are nearby and both good

We did go....it was actually a gorgeous warm sunny day and we had a fab time. My boys loved it, spent a good six hours there and they want to go back.
Thanks everyone.

I'm so glad the sun shone for you and your boys had a great time. Smile
