Can you recommend me a good trip for me and 12 month dd?

Would like to stay in the UK, im a lone parent so would just be me and dd.

Looking for somewhere with activities during the day, maybe farms, walks, wildlife parks etc nearby.

Open to any suggestions..would like anything between 4 days and a week I think.

Please give me some ideas

Norfolk or North Wales both worked well when our two were young. September probably optimum month for cost/weather/not too crowded for DD.

N Wales - mountain zoo and Greenwood Forest Park excellent. Beaches lovely incl on Anglesey - easy bus / car journey from mainland.

Norfolk - Thrigby Wildlife Park good and quite a lot of space. Beaches nice and sandy. Great Yarmouth quite fun and not too expensive.

Im in yorkshire Geordie but dont mind travelling.

I would say Edinburgh or Glasgow maybe? Or the lakes or north east?
