Hotel Martinhal, Portugal - anyone??

I'm wondering if anyone has stayed at the Hotel Martinhal in the Algarve? www.martinhal.com
We're seriously considering booking for this Summer but slightly deterred by the fact that there still appears to be a lot of availability. Looks too good to be true...5*, spa, kids clubs, villas and hotel, restaurants and still reasonably priced Hmm
I'd love to hear of any first hand experiences.
Or any other recommendations.....
criteria are:

  • 2.5 hrs flight max
  • kids club and family friendly
  • sunshine and beach
  • 10 days for £5k

how old are the kids? i can imagine with a 10 year old or so the tennis and all that would be pretty appealing, with a toddler there are so many other places that are great there is no need to spend that kind of money.
