What happens at a food festival?

I've just read about the upcoming Regent's Park Food Festival. Apparently there will be many food stalls there.

What confuses me is that the ticket price is high, up to £26.

So does it mean you will have free food once you enter? Or will you still have to pay for the food?

Thank you.

You normally still pay for food

Well.... If you are me and my bestie - you go round all the booze stalls twice for samples and get so pissed that the nice lady doing a knife demonstration won't let you hold the knife 'for your own safety'

We have fun at food festivals

But to answer you sensibly, yes you normally have to buy food and drinks while you are there.

Top tip - take a bottle of water and a mini suitcase on wheels if you are planning on shopping. I always end up buying 18 tonnes of sausage and cheese at a food fair.

Thanks a lot for your kind explanation and advice. It seems the price for the food fair is a bit too high.
