We will be travelling up this summer from Devon to Lancashire and want to meet friends for the day on the journey home. Does anyone have any suggestions please of somewhere we could meet for the day? Between us we have two 3 year olds and 2 babies. Ideally outside.

Thank you - I don't know this part of the UK very well.

You could try West Midlands Safari Park (junc 3 M5) or Cadbury World?

You could go into Brum and there is loads to do there. It depends on what sort of thing you are thinking of?

The Black Country museum is a lovely day out with lots of space for running round outside but plenty to see and do inside.

In Brum, Thinktank is inside, but ace for toddlers

The Severn valley railway is nice, but not sure theres enough around it for a full day with toddlers

Loads at WM safari park, and you can do some outside stuff, then the bit in the car, then more outside

I would say West Midlands Safari Park. Easy to get to from M5 and little ones will love it. Black Country museum is good but 3 year old wont be very interested and it is not great for pushchairs either.
