Hi,
Got two girls, aged 7 and 3. Elder sister is quite interested in classical history - Greece, Rome etc - but in reality would probably only last an hour on an ancient monument before getting bored.
Since having kids we've stuck to holidaying in the UK because we're feeble cowards. But now feeling venturesome enough to take them abroad. However we've been a bit overwhelmed by an ocean of choice and the difficulty of finding information.
What we'd like is ideally a complex with a holiday club and activities for the girls, but some local life and history within easy reach. Somewhere with likely good weather but not oppressively hot, and which can be reached via cheap airfare.
A tall ask, I know! Failing that a little holiday park with just a pool or something would suffice. Any suggestions?
Cheers,
Matt
