Any recommendations for holiday in July with 2 teenagers please?

Don't want to go anywhere too hot - can't cope if its in the 30's! Would like somewhere with small bars, restaurants, shops. Shared or private pool. Near beach - the girls love snorkelling. Would probably look to rent an apartment or villa but all options considered. Any ideas please ??? Thanks

Sharm is good for snorkelling, but too hot for you! I imagine anywhere that has good snorkelling would be hot in July.

July is likely to be too hot for you in most of the med.
The Canaries tend to be a bit cooler and often windy which takes the edge off the heat.
I have teenage boys and while we used to do apartment or villa when they were little they want to meet girls other teenagers and socialise now so we do all inclusive which fits the bill.

Yes, I agree scwirrels, my two love the AI hotels - wouldn't be my first choice, but needs must!

bigTillyMint not my first choice either, but I love their company and want them to keep on coming on holiday with us as long as possible .
This year we are going here but it will be fearsomely hot.

We tend to go to Greece, but it would be too hot for you and dp and dd2 both refusing to go this year because of the heat. Must admit that my two would hate the idea of loads of other teens being around, so AI wouldn't suit us either. We're really struggling tbh and are considering doing something other than a beach holiday, perhaps a city break in Germany with some days out on the train to non-city places.

Thanks for the suggestions all of you. We normally go the med in May half-term but because of GCSEs have delayed this year. We have been to Lanzarote in summer and as scwirrels says that was ok. Not sure mine would fancy loads of teens around either - they are happy swimming, snorkelling and shopping! Has anyone been to any of the other canary islands apart from Tenerife & Lanzarote (as we've 'done' them)? I will keep looking.

I have been to Fuertaventura and Gran Canaria as well as Lanzarote and Tenerife.
I don't think the snorkelling was great in any of the places we went to but Fuerta has great waves for surfing or body boarding. We were there in July once and it was a little too cool for me in the breeze.
I don't go on holiday to shop so couldn't comment on that.

when I say shopping, I mean the local markets and little holiday type shops :)
