How much sun tan cream?

I have bought several of the banana boat kids spf50 aerosol sun tan bottles. Does anyone else use them and how long would one can last, I have 3 dc's - how often does it need re applying? I usually use lotions but im trying the spray for a change.

first coat before leaving room in the morning. Every two hours, more if swimming or being towelled down.

reduce suncream expenditure by wearing clothes, sunsuits, hats, getting in shade between 11 and 3 etc.

I have 2 Dc and in one week would get through 2 bottles for them. I use boots soltan but presume similar bottle size?
