The Perfect holiday?

After reading threads on where people are holidaying I was thinking what makes the perfect holiday, easy to describe before the DC, but when you have kids what makes the perfect holiday?

Sophisticated but child friendly surroundings,good food,lots of open space to run around in,a plethora of watey activities and the opportunity to have the occasional few hours to yourself.t

It depends how young your children are but I would say if under 5 a short flight will help! And a portable DVD player for the journey
