where to stay in Bilbao? family of 5

Dh wants to visit the Guggenheim, but Im having trouble finding somewhere for us to stay... £1400
for a familyroom in hotel in Bilbao seems a lot for 4 nights! Any ideas anyone? :)

What about an apartment hotel? I had a look at Booking.com and they have a 2 bed apartment at Atxuri Apartments for approx. ?500 (i put in 4 nights in May for 2 adults & 3 kids).

We have used apartments on city breaks as it means we can have breakfast in so it saves quite a bit of money.
