We are looking for a Greek island holiday in summer holidays for myself, dp and dd aged 11. Dp is a snorkelling freak so would like a place where there is good snorkelling from the beach, rather than having to go on a boat trip. DD has not done snorkelling before so I would like somewhere with shallow waters! I am feeling completely overwhelmed by the brochures so have come to Mumsnet. As we only have one DD, we need somewhere with other familiies but not too English and overdeveloped! I like the look of Skiathos but dp reckons the snorkelling is not likely to be good from the beaches.
