Can anyone find me a naice holiday to celebrate my 40th?

we would have to go during he easter hols next year. so around the 5th april 2014, for 2 weeks,

I would love to go somewhere hot so i could swim in the sea, like mexico or thailand. open to other suggestions.

we are a family of 4. 2 adults and a 10 and 14 yr old who love swimming pools and beaches.
my budget is about 6K

Anyone got any recommendations please?

I'd go for Thailand over Mexico, but it depends whether you're looking for a lazy beach holiday or something with a bit more culture.

Are you definitely geared towards long haul or would somewhere closer to home, like Morocco be an option? My friend did Morocco for her 50th and spent one week at a really good hotel in Marakkech and then a second week on the Atlantic coast in Agadir - she really enjoyed it.

will there be enough to do.
my kids just want a fab pool really.
i would love some heat and some wildlife, not fussed about nightlife at all

I'm not sure when my friend went, but I did Agadir in January and it was around 18-20deg, so later in the year would be much warmer.

Barbados sounds fab though too
