I am traveling alone with my 2 and half year old dd and will not have a car seat with me. Will I be able to get into a taxi on arrival in Paris at the Gare du Nord? What are the rules there about traveling by taxi without a car seat?

No car seats needed in taxis in Paris, you won't have a problem Smile

Wow - that was a speedy reply. Thank you winnybella. One more worry off my mind!

There are plenty of taxis at Gare du Nord, and as far as I know for a short taxi journey it's legal to just hold your baby but you can also if you want book a taxi with a car seat: here or here.

Where are you going? Could you travel by bus or metro?
