Have you been to Finland?

Has anyone been to Finland for a family holiday in August? If so what areas would you recommend?

I was! It was incredible, it depends, what you want to see or discovered. lapalnd is beautiful, even in summer! I spent last summer in small town called Kuopio, and two days in Helsinky. Freind told me, that Rovaniemi is too very nice.

I'm currently looking into a holiday in Finland, next July/August but I'm concerned about mosquitoes. Madeline, did you come across many while you were there?
