Not sure where to start or where to go. We don't have much spare cash but feel that we need a short holiday before no 2 arrives in September. Any ideas?

According to the observer travel section today Greece and Turkey haven't sold well this year and there will be last minute bargains available.

We dont do so well with hot temps so was thinking this country or somewhere close. France or Ireland I guess.

Ireland won't be cheap, sorry no nothing about France.

budget?

Beabea · 07/05/2006 12:57

No budget set as it is just an idea at the moment. A accomodation is the key thing I guess.

Pembokeshire (depends on where you're based and your appetite for travel I guess)? If you're looking for gorgeous British beaches then I can throughly recommend there.

we stayed \link{http://www.qualitycottages.co.uk/ref847.htm\here} which i can thoroughly recommend, they don't have avail in Aug only 1st week of July. Failing that there are lots of nice cottages on that site

We've had three (not in one year) very cheap cottage/caravan holidays in pembrokeshire and ceredigion (just up the coast)and they were some of our best family holidays - fab beaches, countryside, lots to do if you want and wondefully nothing to do but relax if that's what you're after! Quite sad we're not going this year now!
