We are still being told by our rental homes association to get one anyway to be on the safe side for the sake of £5 I probably will as you never know (knowing my luck!)

We're tempted to get them too. Am keeping a close eye just incase.

There is no need at all to buy such a permit.

It was a badly thought out piece of legislation.

We went in February when they were still saying you needs one. Dh did get one. It was all a bit panic though as hadn't heard of it til couple if says before. Then day we went the appeared to suspend it, and not seems not needed at all anyway!

At least it was cheap!
