Having read rave reviews I'd like to stop at Puy du Fou for a couple of days on our way back from France this year. I'm trying to decide whether to book the accommodation on site or not (the viking cabins on the water) or a nice B&B nearby. The accommodation on site looks good fun and convenient, but expensive and a bit 'mass market'.
The B&B is quite a lot cheaper, but we'd have the bother of getting on and off site, and part of me thinks we should just embrace the whole Puy du Fou experience for a couple of days.
Has anyone tried the hotels? What did you think? Worth it? How difficult is parking etc otherwise?
