Childrens meals on BA and prams or not

Hi we are flying to the middle east in a few weeks, and I have the option to choose childrens meals for the children , a 7 and 3 year old. Is it worth it are they nice, or am I better off with the normal adult meals, we will be in club class if that makes any difference?

Alsothe 3 year is a good walker but would you take a buggy with you just for use at the aiports as it can be a very long walk sometimes and I'm not sure how tired he'll be?

Any advice or other useful information would be great. Thank you.

Childrens meals on ba are alright as long as you dont have really fussy kids. take plenty of snacks anyway to keep them occupied. my ds had nuggets potato, veg, cake, yoghurt etc. take a buggy with you for the holiday but am sure you will manage without as there are plenty of luggage trolleys and mine just sit on these when tired.

Club class cuisine is not all that child friendly to my mind; the starter is usually a cold salad of some description followed by a meat or pasta dish (both of which can be very hot) then some dessert (not usually ice cream). Best bit for me re CW is their Club Kitchen (that tends to have crisps, fruit smoothies and chocolate) and the afternoon tea which has a scone and jam on it.

I would take along what your children like to eat and enough for the duration of the flight. Never rely on the airline to fully provide.

I would also take the buggy; it can be a long old walk at Heathrow from the trasnsit train at both B and C gates to your particular gate.

As you'll be CW pax you can join the shorter and quicker line re boarding the aircraft.

Thank you will take the pram.
Both dc have quite big appetites so taking a lot of snacks for them is a good idea.
Atilla - the CW Kitches is also dh favourite place on the plane.Grin

The good thing about kids meals is they bring them round before they fo the adult trolley so you can get them set up with trays etc without having to juggle your own tray.
My DS loved the idea of his own "little dinner", he didn't eat a huge amount but we did an overnight flight and it was way past his bedtime so Taft didn't help.

I'd definitely order kids meals, they are not bad.
I'd also take the buggy. which airport are you flying into?
