Venice

Hi. I'm fortunate enough to be able to take my DS(8) to Venice for a few days in the Easter holidays.

I've only ever been there for a day - day trip from Rimini - but as I'm a dinosaur, that was about a million years ago now!

If anyone has any tips on cool things to do when we are there I would be glad to read them.

Never been with children, but we loved taking the boat over to watch glass-making in Murano and see the colourful houses on Burano, also to the beach on the Lido. We found the ghetto tour fascinating, also the "secret itinerary" of the Doge's Palace (much more interesting than just wandering around on your own).
