We have just come back from an amazing holiday in Fueterventura (me 24 weeks pg, DD 17m old)
It was SOOO good we are thinking about doing similar but in tenerife next year.
(I thought 4 hours on a plane would be a nightmare, but it wasnt, and it was worth it for lovely sunshine) (last year we took the car on a ferry to france, it was grey cold and rainy alot of the time, but the journey to the ferry port plymouth is 5.5 hours from here)
I thought we would France agaib next year, as can load car, but i have now thought again and would prefer sunshine and no cooking
We went to a fab toddler friendly place (Atlantis suites resort, correlejo) where we had a suite (mini kitchen, fab for milk & washing cups etc, all blacked out (i didnt even use my travel black out blind), loads of storage), it was all buggy friendly, 2 of the 7 pools (baby pool, 1 foot deep and childrens pool 80cm ish deep) were as warm as baths. The food was fantastic and plenty for "fussy children" too & loads of highchairs, and we just had a wonderful very relaxing family holiday in the warm sunshine.
A lovely sandy kids play area where DD played for hours and a beach
