Legoland help

gregssausageroll · 06/03/2013 16:11

We have 4 days at the end of April. Want something for ds who is nearly 5 and he's been asking to go.

We are coming down from Scotland so don't want to drive. Is it easy enough to get to and easier would you say by train or plane? The on site hotel seems very expensive but cheaper ones are nearby but are they accessible without a car.

Any tips?

There is a shuttle bus from Windsor town centre to Legoland, and a Travelodge also in the town centre. And a buses from Heathrow to Windsor.

Check opening times though, as early season it is not always open mid-week.

We stayed in London and got the train in Waterloo to Windsor. There is a shuttle bus just up the hill which takes you there . Think it was about £14
