Thinking of going for a couple of days during spring bank holiday.

Anyone have any suggestions as to where we could stay?

oohh! also what there is to do; and is the seawater warm?

(fil says its much warmer than anywhere else)

is there anywhere rural-like to stay nearby?

What type of accommodation are you after, unicorn? Bournemouth and area has stacks of all types of accommodation. Some of my relatives like Rockley Park, a caravan/campsite near Poole, loads of facilities, very family-friendly etc. But there are loads of hotels and b&bs too. Seawater won't be all that warm at this time of year though.

Plenty of rural areas all around, from the New Forest on one side to beautiful Dorset countryside on the other.

Err no, the sea will not be warm this time of year! It's a great place for a visit though.

Just looking for a cheapish/ nice B+B - or anywhere self catering.. that lets on a daily basis.

The G/parents are going that week - and as we never see them- it may be an idea to try and meet up - but NOT in the same accomodation iyswim~!

Any personal favorites anyone?
