We have max 3 nights, where can we go? Not Paris.

What sort of thing are you after? How long are you prepared to travel for? What's the budget?

About £1000. Not too far, don't want to spend it all travelling. 2hr flight?

Rome: has a good balance of 'worthy stuff to do', plus racy history, plus romantic atmosphere; and good food and wine.

South of France eg. Nice, Antibes. We went to Nice for our 10th Anniversary last year. It was fab. We then took the coastal buses around and the scenery was incredible.

Just added burgh island to my list. 10 years for us next year and I am a Christie fan. Better start saving.

I know you said you only have a 3 night max time window, but have you considered traveling to the states at all for your trip? There are so many incredible things to do in Massachusetts that I think you would truly love every second here!

Bruges? So romantic and easy to get to via Eurostar.
