Has anyone been to Paraiso Dunas in Tenerife?

That's it really. We are going there in a couple of weeks and was just wondering has anyone from mumsnet been there as I have read mixed reviews on Trip Advisor.

I have never been to the resort you are asking about Carmenere, but I was to Tenerife via the Club Med Sailing Ship about 14 years ago. I thought it was a beautiful place--bought some gorgeous shoes and table linnens and rented a car and toured the island. Nice memory of it for me. I hope that you enjoy your trip.

The landscape was interesting as I remember it, from lush to desertthe beach we were on was tough on the feet though, black sand and kind of rocky. I remember quite a few timeshares at that time (God only knows what it looks like now!) and lots of fish and chip shops! Unless I am losing my mindwe went to Mallorca and Cape Verde before crossing to Martinique. I really enjoyed the crossing the most to be honest!
