Barcelona - family-friendly apartments or hotels?

We have stayed twice [http://www.hostalgrau.com/en/el-nuevo-hostal-grau-por-que-un-cambio.html here]] just off the Ramblas. Nothing fancy but right in the centre of things and it seems to get good TripAdvisor reviews.
