Morning!

We are looking to go to florida in two weeks and need some help with where to find villas for rent and also possible locations. When we last went we used holiday letting but bey don't seem to have as many Florida villas this time round.

We will be visiting Disney but this isn't the sole purpose of our trip shopping is so we aren't limited to Orlando. Thanks for your help, so excited. just need the exchange rate to improve a bit!

We have stayed at sunset lakes before which was only 10 mins from the mouse. have a look at the homeaway website and vrbo websites for a really good choice. we also stayed at bit further out but found the extra 20/25 mins a bit of a pain. what about combining with a visit to Florida keys we had the most fab time there with our teenagers. only around 4 hours drive so you could do a 2 centre holiday. pm me for more details if you want them.

what exactly are your dates?
You would get a good deal last minute on this villa: www.ownersdirect.co.uk/usa/f1895.htm
mention Mumsnet for a good deal Grin

we stayed in Kissimmee, very quick to the parks, very well signposted, good restaurants around.

Groovee · 28/02/2013 16:35

We're staying in Kissimee.

MOSagain · 28/02/2013 17:24

Don't forget that Kissimmee is HUGE! I've seen villas advertised as minutes from Disney. Yes, they are, 59 minutes from Disney!
The closest residential areas to Disney are just off the 192, Formosa Gardens, Windsor Hills, Indian Ridge and Indian Ridge Oaks. They are with 4 -5 mins of Disney. Beware of ones off Highway 27, a lot further out.

We got one from Monarch Holidays. It was nice and well equipped.

If you visit the DIBB website lots of folks advertise their private holiday homes directly on the site....

We stayed in Emerald Island -fabulous location really close to the parks.

Have you tried VRBO website?

We nearly always book through them and would recommend.

Best place to look for holiday villas in Florida is www.ownersrentals.com
By far the best selection on the web in our opinion. Used them dozens of times with no problems.
