booking holiday couple of days b4 travel

has anyone ever done a holiday this way. is it really cheap? dont rally want to do allocation on arrival as have ds 4 so dont want to be on top on nightclub - any ideas?

Yes - sunsail do very cheap deals in the run up to the week.....as they are 'resorts' it wouldn't be allocation on arrival - also have kids clubs..

Haven't done it with children but with a friend we booked a day in advance, not planned at all just walked past a travel agent and saw a cheap deal for the next day - it was great
