My Shirley Valentine breaks have been in Elounda Crete ... beautiful, safe, plenty of waterfront tavernas and you'll probably not want to go home!
I also love the Salzburg region in Austria, St Wolfgang has a wonderful Spa Hotel on the lakeside - that recharges the batteries every time!

I have been to many places on my own, some a bit far for a week but what about Prague. I went to museums, afternoon concerts and just walked around the sights.

Or you could do a retreat. A friend of mine does something like cooking in Tuscany which looks gorgeous.

I'd like to have a rest exposing myself in the warm weather, a short trip to the neighboring town would be appreciated from my inner heart. You can have a try on that to connect yourself with nature in fact.
