Hi
We are thinking of bermuda for our summer holiday but would like a hotel with a club/creche where the boys can be entertained for a few hours per day. Does anyone know if this exists
.
Also is the weather rainy at end of July/August?

Thanks in advance!

I went once. It's a dull place tbh.

ggirl · 17/02/2013 23:01

I lived there for a yr..was meant to be 2..went stir crazy.

As far as I recall the weather gets iffy end of summer ..hurricane season. This was yrs ago so can't recall hotels etc.

Sorry but this is bumped foryou

Wilso · 18/02/2013 13:54

Is it really dull? All we are looking for is a few weeks of sun and relaxation.

well the beaches are amazing
lovely scenery
so if your children are happy with that it's blissful

I think it's a lovely place for a holiday..but I get bored of the beach after a few days so not for me.

When we lived there you couldn't rent cars , only mopeds so travelling as a family would have to be taxi.

i was in a big hotel - AMerican conferences prevailed.

Why not FLorida or somewhere in the Southern med?

BelindaCarlisle · 18/02/2013 19:18

simpson do periyali thingy and Simply travel do Mousses in Turkey ( i loved it there)

BelindaCarlisle · 18/02/2013 19:19

take a look at these reviews

BelindaCarlisle · 18/02/2013 19:21

periyali here

BelindaCarlisle · 18/02/2013 19:21

We are off here this year dalyan

brumblebee · 18/02/2013 19:22

Weather would be lovely at that time but I agree with ggirl's points about transport. If you are after relaxation then you'll be fine. Maybe look at Southampton Princess which has a kid's club, kid's pool etc.

mousses with creche

homebythesea · 19/02/2013 14:09

After a week you will have exhausted everything Bermuda has to offer

californiaburrito · 19/02/2013 18:35

How old are your boys?

Wilso · 21/02/2013 21:51

Thanks everyone, we are still deliberating.

The boys will be 2 and 5, that's why we would like a nice hotel with crèche/kids club.

Florida sounds like a good call but not Disney....not sure I'm ready for it yet;)

W/at about elsewhere in Caribbean?

Wilso · 22/02/2013 14:20

Yes actually we would go anywhere in the Caribbean as long as there's a kids club that takes our 2 and 5 year old!

That is the challenge, most take from age 4.have you looked at Carlisle bay in Antigua

Fluffy1234 · 22/02/2013 17:25

The Almond resorts in the Caribbean take children from a young age.

AvonCallingBarksdale · 22/02/2013 17:30

Summer's not a great time to go to the Caribbean, though. We've been a couple of times and always in Jan/Feb. July/August can be hurricane/wet seasons. You tend to get good deals there in the summer for a reason! How about southern Europe? Corsica and Sardinia would be hot with lovely beaches.
