This will be the last year we can travel outside the school holidays so would like to go away in June to a European resort. We have about £1500 (possibly more) to spend for 7-10 days, any suggestions please?

Sardinia? Lovely beaches in Alghero.

Corralejo in Fuerteventura. Has the most beautiful, child friendly beach I have ever seen. Miles of white sand, safe, quiet resorts and very reasonable to eat out.

Agree Corralejo is a lovely beach for children.Miles of sanddunes and not many other people on them. But as it is for June,Menorca would be lovely and the flight is shorter.Have a look at Punta Prima, went last year with my 2 who are a bit younger but had everything for this type of family holiday and it's an easy island to get around.

I've just booked a week in cala'dor in Majorca. For 2 adults and two 2 yr olds, a week all inclusive for just under your budget. Going in July but just before school hols
Found a fab website which had lots of bargains in decent hotels.

We have just booked to go to Lido Di jesolo in Italy for £1300, half board, 2 adults, 2 children early September. It is a very family orientated resort.

Thanks for your replies.
wereonourway which website did you use?

I love Portugal but I don't enjoy swimming in the Atlantic! Prefer the Med.
