Anyone been to Corsica in early September? Is it quite quiet? I am wondering if it is mainly French and Italian visitors that they will be back at work and it might be too quiet for my tastes!

Went a few years ago at that time - thought it perfect time to visit as august crowds had gone but restaurants still lively in the evenings, weather lovely apart from last day massive thunderstorms and v overcast. Would definitely go back in sept but sadly bound to school hols now...

Gets totally packed in august, French school hols, we went first two weeks in Sept, good weather in the main, resorts fully open but without the crowds. Good time to go
